Brooklyn Joy's Arrival!!!

I woke up to a call last night around 2am our time from Stephen..
When I saw who it was I figured it must be the good news that
Tina had finally gone in to the hospital!  Sure enough!  Yea!!!
Little Miss Brooklyn Joy was born this morning around 4:15.
I still need to update from our weeks thus far in Michigan, but
I just had to post a picture of my adorable little niece!
Isnt' she just SO precious and beautiful?! :)

Back in Wisconsin

After Indiana, the Ingrams and Swansons left and Carl,
Marty, and I traveled back to Wisconsin to meet up with
the rest of the team where we would then leave the following
Saturday for Michigan.  We were able to get in on opening
meetings for BCM.  The Lord really used them in my heart!
It was a good spiritually as well as physically refreshing week!

I was able to stay with Steve, Tina, and Levi for the weekend.
We had so much fun!
I so enjoyed getting to see "my little man" again!:)

Don't you love his "Michigan" coat?!;)
He was having a lot of fun beeping this horn!:)

So handsome, isn't he?!:)

Don't we wish we all woke up from naps this chipper?!;)
I was trying to get him to say "Tiz", and this is what he does!:)
Where's Levi?:)
He loves to play peek-a-boo with his book!:)
Can you tell I'm a proud aunt?!:)

Our Week in Martinsville, Indiana

I stayed with Melody Zempel and Bethanie Wall.
It was so good to see Melody again and to meet Bethanie!
Both of the girls teach at the academy and Melody works
in the office.. as well as a lot of various other things!:)

And we mustn't forget Oliver, Melody's cat!;)

Chapel service in the auditorium on Monday morning
On Tuesday evening the Ingrams invited me to join them
as they went to IBC (Indiana Baptist College) where
Mr. Ingram was asked to preach.  It's about thirty minutes
away, so we made a night of it!:)  It was a lot of fun!
We went to a Mexican restaurant before for supper.

This was a unique week of the War of Special Forces (as
if all of them aren't!:)) in that Mr. Ingram took over for
Dr. Jim's responsibilities while Dr. Jim was in Wisconsin
for leadership meetings for Baptist College of Ministry.

Courtney Swanson with a girl from the academy who
couldn't play in the competitions because of some
different injuries.. some pretty rough competitions!;)

Tim and Courtney Swanson also joined us this week
to lead the Marine Recon team in replacement of Joe
who was doing a recording in Wisconsin.
Like I said.. a different week, but fun!:)

Mrs. Ingram took some awesome pictures!
I love this one!!!

The War nights were pretty full..
about 75 on Wednesday, 90 on Thursday, and 65 on Friday.

SKIT TIME!!! :)

Carl makes an awesome "senior citizen man"! :)
The voice is the best! :)

Some people didn't know quite what to think, I guess.. :)

Friday night, as usual, we did the War outside.

Such a neat story!  Shows you what a GREAT GOD we have!
Okay, so I was out recruiting at Wal-Mart and right when
I get out of the van I see this teen-age looking girl with
her baby.  I knew right away I should give her a brochure,
but I thought, "No, she probably won't want it.. and she has
a baby and probably wouldn't wanna come."
Well, I started heading in Wal-Mart and then just knew I
had to give one to her, so I did.  She was very nice and
I even got her name and number.
Well, so I texted her and she said she couldn't come on
Wednesday because she had to work, but she said she
would come on Thursday.  So, Thursday came and I
texted her telling her I was excited to see her and Chase
(her baby).  She texted back and asked if she could bring
her nephew that she was watching.. well, long story a bit
shorter, she ended up coming and bringing her nephew
AND his girlfriend.  So, they were registering and Lacie
(the girlfriend) says, "My brother is here!"  Thinking
she meant that her brother came to the War, I tried
asking some more questions to find out.. well, soon
enough I find out that he's actually not a teen who
came to the War but Marty, the Navy Seals captain!
I was SO surprised!  I knew Marty had some half
siblings, and one of his sister's even came the night
before and accepted Christ!  I excitedly took Lacie
and the crew out to the field, and Marty seemed
pleasantly surprised to see her!
That night after invitation, I had the privilege to lead
Lacie to the Lord!  It was SO awesome!  And that
her other sister had received Christ the night before!
Hallie, the girl from Wal-Mart, also received Christ!
Needless to say, it was a very exciting evening!:)
It was SO much fun and a privilege to have the Ingrams
with us!  I had such a fun time with them!  Out to dinner,
to IBC, late night McDonalds talk with a truck driver..
a bunch of good times!:)

It was even more exciting, though, to see souls saved this
week!  I believe there were over twenty teens that accepted
Christ!  I'm humbled and overjoyed to be part of this ministry..
The War of Special Forces!
