Our Week in Martinsville, Indiana

I stayed with Melody Zempel and Bethanie Wall.
It was so good to see Melody again and to meet Bethanie!
Both of the girls teach at the academy and Melody works
in the office.. as well as a lot of various other things!:)

And we mustn't forget Oliver, Melody's cat!;)

Chapel service in the auditorium on Monday morning
On Tuesday evening the Ingrams invited me to join them
as they went to IBC (Indiana Baptist College) where
Mr. Ingram was asked to preach.  It's about thirty minutes
away, so we made a night of it!:)  It was a lot of fun!
We went to a Mexican restaurant before for supper.

This was a unique week of the War of Special Forces (as
if all of them aren't!:)) in that Mr. Ingram took over for
Dr. Jim's responsibilities while Dr. Jim was in Wisconsin
for leadership meetings for Baptist College of Ministry.

Courtney Swanson with a girl from the academy who
couldn't play in the competitions because of some
different injuries.. some pretty rough competitions!;)

Tim and Courtney Swanson also joined us this week
to lead the Marine Recon team in replacement of Joe
who was doing a recording in Wisconsin.
Like I said.. a different week, but fun!:)

Mrs. Ingram took some awesome pictures!
I love this one!!!

The War nights were pretty full..
about 75 on Wednesday, 90 on Thursday, and 65 on Friday.

SKIT TIME!!! :)

Carl makes an awesome "senior citizen man"! :)
The voice is the best! :)

Some people didn't know quite what to think, I guess.. :)

Friday night, as usual, we did the War outside.

Such a neat story!  Shows you what a GREAT GOD we have!
Okay, so I was out recruiting at Wal-Mart and right when
I get out of the van I see this teen-age looking girl with
her baby.  I knew right away I should give her a brochure,
but I thought, "No, she probably won't want it.. and she has
a baby and probably wouldn't wanna come."
Well, I started heading in Wal-Mart and then just knew I
had to give one to her, so I did.  She was very nice and
I even got her name and number.
Well, so I texted her and she said she couldn't come on
Wednesday because she had to work, but she said she
would come on Thursday.  So, Thursday came and I
texted her telling her I was excited to see her and Chase
(her baby).  She texted back and asked if she could bring
her nephew that she was watching.. well, long story a bit
shorter, she ended up coming and bringing her nephew
AND his girlfriend.  So, they were registering and Lacie
(the girlfriend) says, "My brother is here!"  Thinking
she meant that her brother came to the War, I tried
asking some more questions to find out.. well, soon
enough I find out that he's actually not a teen who
came to the War but Marty, the Navy Seals captain!
I was SO surprised!  I knew Marty had some half
siblings, and one of his sister's even came the night
before and accepted Christ!  I excitedly took Lacie
and the crew out to the field, and Marty seemed
pleasantly surprised to see her!
That night after invitation, I had the privilege to lead
Lacie to the Lord!  It was SO awesome!  And that
her other sister had received Christ the night before!
Hallie, the girl from Wal-Mart, also received Christ!
Needless to say, it was a very exciting evening!:)
It was SO much fun and a privilege to have the Ingrams
with us!  I had such a fun time with them!  Out to dinner,
to IBC, late night McDonalds talk with a truck driver..
a bunch of good times!:)

It was even more exciting, though, to see souls saved this
week!  I believe there were over twenty teens that accepted
Christ!  I'm humbled and overjoyed to be part of this ministry..

Our Week at Central Baptist Church & Academy in Memphis, TN!

I stayed with Jim and Jill Sanderlin this week.. we had a lot of fun!:)
It made me miss Abby, Sam, and the kids being there!
They had pictures up of them all over..
these are the pictures of them that Jim left in my room for me:)

Jim & Jill have two adorable little boys, Ethan and Derek (pictured below).
Ethan and I hit it off right away.. A little while after getting to their house,
I was a little surprised to hear Ethan call me "mama"!  Jill informed me,
though, that he calls every lady that he likes "mama" and she is mommy:)

Some pictures of the chapels at CBA...

The three team captains..
Joe (Marines), Carl (Army), and Marty (Navy)

Gotta love that "Splash Ball"!:)

Team competitions during the school day...

Team meetings...

I so enjoyed getting to know the people in the school and church..

I also had the opportunity to teach a children's meeting on Monday,
Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings while Dr. Jim did revival meetings
in the church.. it was a pretty busy week!:) This picture tells all.. ;)
And did I mention that I had mostly ALL boys?!;)

Pastor Anderson took the team out to eat at this place..
I don't think I have to say much.. the name says just about all!;)

The WAR night!!!
We had pretty good attendance..
about 75 to 80 both Thursday and Friday nights.
I was able to personally lead one girl to the Lord and
counsel another on assurance of salvation.
I'm thankful to the Lord that He still saves and works..
and even that He uses a weak, undeserving vessel!!!
The NAVY SEALS won the week!!!
(I think they'd looked pretty excited, too..
but I think they were in the midst of a cheer, so
that's probably why it doesn't really look like it;))

We had a good week and I got about an hour of sleep
before we left at about 1:15am for Louisville, Kentucky
to drop Joe and Dr. Jim off at the airport to fly on to
Milwaukee (Joe for the recording and Dr. Jim for
college responsibilities..), and then Marty, Carl, and I
drove on to Martinsville, Indiana to meet up with the Ingrams
and Tim & Courtney Swanson to conduct another
War of Special Forces!:)

Training Week in WI! :)

Tina & Steve (and Levi, of course!) picked me up from the
train station late Saturday night.  It was SO good to see them
all again, especially after a long day of traveling with some
interesting people!;)  Right when I got into the van, Levi was
"talking" up a storm!  It was so cute!  He's so much fun!  So, I
stayed with them on Saturday night and then went to Falls on Sunday
for the week of training..
Well, actually this (picture below) is where I spent most of my training
week.. in the Van's basement doing school with my girls:)  It's nice to be
back, though, and see my girls!  I've missed them!

On Monday at lunch I got talking with Jesse and Mary..
We had a great time chatting and I had fun getting up to
date on the latest and hearing all about their story..
all the way back from like a year and a half ago!
Jesse was very thorough:)
Mary wanted me to see Jesse's office.  She'd decorated
it and had pictures of them up all over the office.  It was
very nice!  Great job, Mary!  I love the pictures..
this one was especially my favorite!:)

We enjoyed going to Ledi & Harriet's for dinner on Thursday night.
They're so much fun!  And their daughter, Joanna, is SO cute!:)

Nicole, my traveling buddy for this year:)
She'll teach the girls music as I'll be doing school..
It'll be nice to have another single girl around:)

The African food was delicious!  Thumbs up from Janna!:)

I thought that this "carrier" that Harriet had was so cool!:)

We enjoyed looking at pictures from Adam & Katie's wedding..
Harriet's an awesome photographer!
This training week ended early Saturday morning..
Dr. Jim, the three team captains (Carl, Joe, and Marty), and I headed
down to Memphis, Tennessee, for our first week of War of Special Forces!:)

Zoo Fun!!!:)

We enjoyed going to the Toledo Zoo this past Saturday.
It was so much fun to be able to do it before I left to travel again..
I'll miss my family!:(
We took SO many pictures.. (Actually, Anna took SO many pictures!;))
I could've posted LOTS more!!!
These are just a few to enjoy.. :)
