When we arrived in Springfield, Missouri, Pastor Brudnak
said that Ariel & I couldn't stay in the home that we
were staying in that week until Monday night. I was
expecting him to say something like "so, you're
staying in the church", but to our pleasant surprise
he told us that we were staying at a nearby hotel!
The nicest one in the area! And it was very nice!
It had the rooms all around the sides with balconies
overlooking the main lobby area below.
Here's the view from our window! Not the best day
to go swimming! :-)
And they had an indoor pool, too.
They had an awesome fountain in the main lobby area!
The hotel served a continental breakfast each morning.
It was a lot better than I expected! They had biscuits
and gravy, waffles, eggs, bacon, fruit and a whole lot more!
Ariel & I enjoyed having a big booth all to ourselves! :-)
I had to get a picture of Ariel taking a picture of her
computer (just in case it got stolen by housecleaning!).
On Sunday afternoon we went to pastor's house for lunch.
Pastor offered coffee after the meal, and I teasingly said that
Mrs. Van would have some :-) She about shocked the socks
off of me when she said she actually would! I think she
did it just to try the creamer, though :-)
We had absolutely gorgeous weather this week!
Although the weather was calling for rain,
Sunday was the only day that it actually rained!
Leesie & I enjoyed reading outside :-)
The sun was a little much for Leesie, I think ;-)
Annaleese & Annalice
(spelled different but pronounced the same)
Katelyn & Aiden
Alia having fun reading her book! :-)
She was such a doll! So was her brother,
Aiden. It's fun to be in the nursery with
cute, well-behaved kids! ;-)
I loved Aiden's big blue eyes!
He looked like such a little man! :-)
One of the girls noticed this sign on the bulletin board
and thought of Amanda :-) She'd always say this!
I have fun leaving little notes & treats for the girls :-)
Bill (who is taking the picture) captured the girls perfectly! :-)
Sunday morning special
Thanks for capturing us while we sang, Bill!
I can't usually take a picture of that (for obvious reasons) :-)
We enjoyed going over to the Wyrick's house for a game
and dessert on Tuesday night! :-)
They breed dogs, so they brought some puppies to show us!
Enjoying conversation before church! :-)
Alia is such a cutie! :-)
We were in Springfield, MO, about two years ago on
our last Revival meeting tour. It was very encouraging
how much the church has grown in just two years!
The girl's are even learning to accompany now for
the specials! Janna did a great job!
Pastor Brudnak
It was a joy to be back with the Brudnak family again!
They're so sweet and fun!
So fun to see all the pics and hear the comments - makes me feel a little like I was there too! Are you spoiled, or what?! :)
