National Hoops

I arrived home from traveling and hit the ground running! :-)
I love to stay busy, though!
And what could be better than helping my dear cousin Rachel?! :-)
Last week we had the National Hoops team come to our church
and do a teen outreach.  It was nice to be on this side of
it and totally understand how they felt traveling all around,
staying in new places, and visiting new churches! :-)
We really enjoyed having them come!
Hope they can come back soon!
 Registration Table

It's been fun getting to know her & having her around!

And we had excellent refs! :-)

Haydn & Hunter are two of Mike Washers' sons,
the director of National Hoops.

Mary did an awesome job in the shooting contest!
Look at that height!

Paul Reiman loved all the attention at the shooting contest! :-)

It was awesome to see all those that responded to the
gospel message!  There were 15 salvation decisions!

Goodbye...

This past Friday was my final day teaching Stephanie,
Janna, and Annaleese... it was kind of weird to be
ending after three years with them!
The girls made a special breakfast of pancakes, bacon,
and eggs for us on Friday morning.  It was so sweet!
They then surprised us by decorating
our "desks" and hanging a banner! :-)

Janna wrote me a poem and read it to me.
She also wrote songs for both Ariel & I, which the girls sang.
It was beautiful!  They're so creative & thoughtful!
Leesie's confetti decorations & card that she made for me! :-)
This is the song that Janna wrote for me.
And this is the poem that she wrote.
She's an amazing writer!  Definitely has a talent for it!

Report Cards
Three years of hard work and all I have is these
little pieces of paper to show for it?! ;-)
I made collages for each of the girls remembering the
fun times that we've had these past three years...
I also made one for Dr. Jim & Mrs. Van.

We'll miss you, girls!

Memories from the past years of traveling...
My first time traveling with the Vans in 2007 for a practicum.
The girls all look so young!  Who ever knew I'd be traveling again?!
 Stephanie was "my girl" :-)

even though you forgot to charge your camera, Tab! ;-)
I will miss you, Dr. Jim, "Mama Van", and "my little women"!
Thank you for giving me the privilege of teaching and
traveling for three years!  It's a time I will treasure and
there are many precious memories I will never forget!
