Janna's 14th Birthday!

Janna turned 14 this past Tuesday!
This is just the week of birthdays! :-)
Actually, within eight days, four of the five Vans
have birthdays!  Makes it fun! :-)
Mrs. Van had a whole party planned for Janna...
Janna wasn't too thrilled about it at first... :-)
Each one of the guys got blindfolded, and instead of
pin the tail on the donkey, it was write the note on the scale!
Great idea, Mrs. Van! :-)

DJ looks like he just can't wait for his turn! ;-p

The girls wanted me to give it a try too! :-)
 The birthday girl trying! :-)
Then Janna showed the guys how she does
her "pretzel" stance & Mrs. Van had all of them
try it.. quite funny to see them try to say the least! ;-)

 Thomas got it! :-)

Janna seated on her "throne" as she opens gifts :-)
Thomas getting the yarn that he bought for Janna
ready for her to use to play with :-)
Wow!  Who says she's gonna have a few
cavities after all of this?! ;-)
I found her cherry flip flops,
since cherries are her "theme"! :-)
Thomas trying to teach Mrs. Van a few tricks with yarn :-)
It's pretty amazing what he can do with it!
Now, teaching Janna :-)
Happy Birthday, Jan!  Hope you had a great one!  Love you!

  1. Wow what a fun birthday party!!!! I like the "Write the note on the scale" game...pretty creative!!!! Looks like everyone had fun!!! The pretzel stance looks a little complicated...I don't think I could do that.
