Edmonton, Alberta

The family Amanda and I stayed with this week..
Pastor Aaron, the youth pastor, his wife, Sarah,
who reminded us so much of Mrs. Shoultz, and
their daughter, Addison.

Addison showing off her belt! :)
For Easter, we had a sunrise service.. literally! :)
You might think he's being spiritual and all.. praying..
He's actually playing hide n' seek! ;)
We went to the assistant pastor's house for Sunday
lunch.  We stayed there almost all day!  We had fun
playing games, eating, and talking.. the guys especially
had a good time having LONG theological discussions.. :)
 Me & Haddon
We had fun playing Tri-bond! :)
On Monday for lunch, we went to Corey & Michelle Milburn's
house.  Jodi and her husband, Gordon, were there too with their
little boy, Benjamin.  Corey & Michelle's little girl is Sydney.
Dr. Jim's just a natural when it comes to holding little girls! :)

I LOVE this quote!  We saw it as we were leaving,
and Dr. Jim thought it'd be good to have in the girl's dorm! ;)
Amanda's a little nervous about doing scoreboard
for the first time.. she did a great job, though! :)

Canadian money just looks so different.. colorful!
This week was VERY busy and full!
We had Revival meetings from Sunday to Thursday,
the Fizz Feud Friday to the following Sunday night,
and then Dr. Jim also preached the second Sunday
morning that we were there, and Mrs. Van and Alex
did a split session for the teens.. kinda confusing to
explain, but just take my word for it.. it was BUSY! ;)

 Classic!  Amanda sneaking gummy bears..

Caught in the cookie jar! ;) haha

I had the privilege to interpret for a deaf lady a few of
the Revival meeting nights.. it was so nice to interpret again! :)
The team spirit was great!!!  GO MOUNTAIN DEW! :)

 The Mountain Dew captain, Alex..
 The Dr. Pepper captain, Joe..
I was just snapping pics and this I realized this guy
actually smiled for me!  So funny! :)
We had a great turn out for the War nights..
a total of over 50 visitors!
This week was a recruiter's dream.. over 750 brochures
passed out and over 250 names & numbers!

 Dr. Jim's favorite shirt! :)
Dr. Jim even got involved in the TV skit!

 Elevator pic! :)

 Me & Katelyn
Someone made this.. very creative & pretty
awesome, I must say!  Although it is the
wrong team.. :)

The girls say that Alex looks like a snake..
poor Alex, but he doesn't seem to mind.
Anyway, the girls and he got in to "mop
water fight" during clean-up on Sunday night..
And this is what happened to Janna's arm from the mop.
Although it's kinda hard to tell, she thinks it looks like a snake bite! :)
The next Sunday afternoon, our last day there, we went
with Pastor and his family to this restaurant.. pretty yummy!
Awesome door handle!
And pretty awesome decorations inside, too!
Thanks for smiling for the picture, Mrs. Van! :)
You could even write on the table!
The girls & pastor's daughter, Beth
The preachers and their wives.. :)
Monday morning we got up to leave to head to the
Canadian Rockies.  Before we left, Dr. Jim & the guys
dumped sewage.. Mrs. Van wanted me to get a pic
because this is Evangelism 101! :)
Canadian Superstore (or Superman, as Audrey would say)! :)
We stopped to grab a few things before we hit the road to
head toward the Rockies.. Rockies here we come! :)
